But tell me this one thing: why are random fish falling from the sky and landing in a frozen tundra in the middle of nowhere close to water?

Needs more stuff.

I would suggest adding powerups, also, your shooting doesnt work well in certain directions. And something else to make it more complicated would help too.

It's nothing special, but it's not bad. Needs a little more to it though, like maybe some music?

you'd be surprised how difficult 'pong' music is too make... nothing sounds right seeing as pong never had a song (at leat that im aware of) Ill keep trying though =P
